PLIO Terms of Service

1) The Service

PLIO provides a job search service. Depending on your inputs and eligibility, we may contact you and provide job-related guidance, introductions, or information. We may update or modify the Service from time to time.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3) User Information and Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it if it changes. You are responsible for any consequences that arise from inaccurate information you provide.

4) SMS/Text Messaging Terms

If you provide your phone number and opt in, PLIO may send you SMS/text messages related to the Service (for example: intake follow-ups, scheduling, status updates, and other job-search related communications).

• Message frequency: Varies.
• Message and data rates: May apply based on your mobile plan.
• Opt-out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation message.
• Help: Reply HELP or email contact@getplio.com.
• Consent not required for purchase: Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of buying anything (we do not require purchase for the Service).
• Supported carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:

• violate any law or regulation;
• impersonate others or provide false information;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service;
• attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access; or
• use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.

6) Intellectual Property

We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and content, except for information you provide to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

7) Your Content

If you provide information, messages, or other materials (“User Content”), you grant PLIO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service and communicate with you.

8) Third-Party Services

We may use third-party tools (for example: form platforms, scheduling tools, SMS providers) to deliver the Service. Your use of those services may be governed by their terms.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee job placement, specific compensation, home time, or employment outcomes.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLIO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

IN ANY EVENT, PLIO’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED $100.

11) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PLIO from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms or if required to comply with law.

13) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
